Ep. 424 - Happy Trying
We begin as always
with the Happy Creed.
We believe in Happy,
in Balance and Growth,
of being Mindful and Grateful,
Compassionate and Understanding.

My Happy Friends!
Happy Trying means you see everything as an opportunity to grow and explore,
To find value in the journey instead of just spoiling the ending from the start,
Sometimes you’ll fall, but don’t let that stop you from what you were climbing for.
It’s true that even the best plans, which take a long time to develop, can still fall apart,
But it doesn’t mean never plan again, if anything it means you should plan more--
Have several backups, so that stumbles merely break your stride and not your heart.
Happy Trying is getting absorbed in the process rather than in the treasure you hope to find,
It’s where mindfulness reaches its peak, and every gesture is made with intention,
Where you aren’t just doing some chore, you’re connecting spirit, body and mind.
It’s about getting into the flow state, where mundane movements gain a new dimension,
Where previously disjointed and scattered efforts suddenly become aligned,
And an action you’ve taken a thousand times before seems like a new invention.
If you don’t pay attention, then even doing something for the first time can be boring,
But if you can lock in and attain total focus, then balance and growth become self-starting,
And old routines that have gotten tired finally become aspects of life worth exploring.
